We believe that it is vital that horses are given the right start. The success of a horse's career can depend on its inital experience. It is paramount that the horse doesn't have a negative experience when it is handled, mouthed, saddled and ridden the first time. It must come away from the breaker with a positive outlook, with more confidence and security than when he arrives. Horses that are confident and secure are far less likely to develop behavioural issues and far more likely to want to work with their trainers/riders than their insecure and unconfident counterparts.

We provide an opportunity where he is given the chance to learn. We have developed a step-by-step system of training where the horse is allowed to take it's time, digest the information presented to him, not overloaded with many things at once. He is allowed to make mistakes, explore options and learn from them. Once the horse understands and accepts what we are asking we consolidate his training through repitition.

We understand the importance of a good teacher, a calm and patient trainer, a leader whom the horse learns to respect, and looks to for guidance and security. A trainer who is skilled in reading the horse and is quick to reward. A trainer who uses only non-violent and humane methods who is consistent and fair.

We start all breeds for all discliplines, performance, pleasure and racing. Our starting program takes between 4-8 weeks and costs $1850.00..
