We provide schooling of non-problem horses to further their education, as well as correctional schooling, floatand barrier training and yearling and weanling handling.

We work with horses that have developed behavioural issues.To understand a horse and the way it reacts you need to put yourself inside the horses head and think like a horse. We try to work out the cause of an issue whether it be rearing, not going forward, floating anxities or barrier stresses. Once we understand why a horse is reacting a certain way it is easy to find ways of correcting the behaviour.

We work with every horse and find long term solutions to problems without using tricks or artificial aids. we use clear and correct non-violent schooling methods in a low adrelin environment and apply them in a calm and consistent manner. Many behavioural problems are learned habits, by schooling the horse we break the habit and train the rider/handler. Often times these horses only need a week or two of re-schooling and we then offer the rider/handler on-going help.

Ethan came for schooling as he had developed a nasty rear, he was very anxious, a naturally sensitive horse and he learnt to rear when turning to the right to avoid right rein pressure, he would spin back to the left and leap through the bridle. After a few weeks of schooling Ethan learnt to relax, push his neck down and reach into the bridle and travel calmly and happily forward.
